[Newt is on his way over to the west wing. He has dibs on one of the houses over there, and he's had enough of socializing for the day. It's getting late, anyway.

He hasn't even stepped into the snow when he spots a tiny pair of... cat ears? They're poking out of the snow and what the shit is that a frog??? Uh.

He crouches down to scoop the little thing up. Once it's out of the snow, he gets a better look at the ears...]

[ ... there is a single croak from the hand, but otherwise frogtra seems to decide to chill (ha ha) and stop biting. This is the closest to saying thanks as she gets.

[Well, given that the biting has stopped and she's not wriggling, she seems to be on board with that idea. Cool. He hurries up to the pool, an area he hasn't really spent much time in.

He's like lowkey tempted to send her down the waterslide, but. He'll be nice. Instead, he sets her down among the vegetation lining the water. It seems like a neat place for a frog to spend the night?]
